Since January 2010, Leo had his own music program at a local broadcaster in the Rijnmond area. Initially an hour under the name 'From Austin & Everywhere'. But after the broadcast time was doubled, he changed the name to 'For The Sake Of The Song' because his program is all about the music! After exactly fourteen years he put an end to that and kept open the option of continuing elsewhere. And although Americana is not a genre - at most it is a collective name for many styles - 'For The Sake Of The Song' mainly draws from that comprehensive collection in terms of music choices. And the music that Leo plays mainly comes from his own record collection. It is music with attention to current events, but also with excursions into the near and distant past.
